Ebb and Flow

My recent prints explore contrasting realms, and transformative processes or events. Transitions such as earth or cosmos, twilight, and dawn, light and transparency play an important role in the construction of each image. The central images in Ebb and Flow are based on water patterns and whirlpools, symbolizing the changes and rhythmic movements of forces in life and nature. Geometric forms within the more atmospheric visual world create a counterpoint of movement and serve as markers of space and time.
