Owl,Kingfisher and Bullet Train

I made a cast paper shelf and used an owl toy, various photos and a drawing transfer print process to convey the biomimicry of the Japanese bullet train. The architect used the hollow feather of the owl to construct the connectors and the beak of the kingfisher to shape the nose of the train, in order to reduce the loud boom sound when the train goes through a tunnel. I foreground the birds as they are the inspiration of so many human designs.
